For many reasons, congregations may be closing their doors and moving to other locations. We are very happy to consult with congregations to identify valuable objects and scrolls and to make recommendations for transferring and preserving Torah arks, synagogue furniture, ceremonial objects and other ritual items.

Nationally, the Jewish Community Legacy Project  offers a support system to rural and small town communities which are planning to or in the process of closing. The JCLP is in Atlanta, Georgia.
